Astrum believes that Lkker Innovations will have an important role in extending Astrum’s portfolio in the global electronics market
Astrum, a Hong Kong based electronics manufacturer has announced its association with London and China based LKKER Innovation. The association will require Lkker Innovations to work on smart designs based on Astrum’s technology. Both the companies signed the association agreement in presence of Mr. N.Lokesh, currently serving as the IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
This association is being seen as a strategic move by Astrum for development of its upcoming innovations and design center in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Pansari, Director, Astrum India speaking about the development said, “The partnership with LKKER Design further paves the way for our objective of becoming a design benchmark, as it enables us to create synergies that help us continue to develop the best designs for our products.”
Astrum’s future plans
Astrum plans to invest Rs 100 Cr to set up a manufacturing plant at Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh. It is believed that the plant once developed will be used to manufacture audio devices, LED lights, accessories for mobile, computer components and gaming controllers.
Claimed to be China’s largest design group, Lkker Innovations, known for its international design and consulting services will have an important role in extending Astrum’s portfolio in the global as well as the Indian electronics market.
The newest collaboration in the electronics industry is another major reminder of the critical role that design plays in the development of electronics industry.
Astrum and LKK Designs will delve into joint working projects to promote design and are going to share their know-how on Technology. LKKER Design shall support Astrum on the relevant Technology and Quality standards to develop Design Innovative Technology Initiatives.
Astrum current portfolio includes 1000+ products across 40+ categories in 17 different countries located around the globe. It had recently launched a portable Bluetooth speaker ‘Astrum TM085’ in India.
