Meizu Launches Crowdfunding Campaign for its Hole-less Smartphone
Meizu is expecting to ship orders of its recently announced Hole-less Zero Smartphone starting April 2019. A report published by Techspot claims that the brand will be selling only 101 units of the smartphone.
OnePlus, Apple and Samsung Top Premium Smartphone Brands
The top three brands, OnePlus, Apple and Samsung contributed to 92 per cent of the overall premium market in Q4 2018. OnePlus 6T was positioned at second place followed by Samsung S9 Plus.

OnePlus India GM Vikas Agarwal said, “It has been our choice that we want to sell exclusively and not because of any commitment that we have made contractually. So, the new regulations will not really have any impact.”
Global Smartphone Market Declines for Fifth Consecutive Quarter
“This is the first time that the global smartphone market has witnessed decline for a whole year. The decline in smartphone shipments can be attributed to lengthening replacement cycles in developed markets like US, China and Western Europe.”
