The company had earlier claimed that it had shipped more than 10 million Mate 20 series smartphones in under five months time
China-based Huawei has unveiled curtains from Huawei Watch GT Active and Elegant editions, fitness bands and wireless earphones. The unveiling took place during the launch of Huawei P 30 series smartphones at an event held in Paris last night.
The company is already retailing Huawei Watch GT in India and many other countries. The classic edition of Huawei Watch GT is currently retailing for a price of Rs 16,990 in the country. Huawei might price the Watch GT Active and Elegant Editions a little expensive than the classic edition. Huawei has also unveiled Band 3 during the event.
Considering the size and importance of Indian market, it is highly likely that India will be one of the first countries to lay its hands on Huawei Freelace earphones, Watch GT and fitness bands. It is to be noted here that Huawei has one of its 15 research centers located here in India.
Huawei wireless earphones
Dubbed Huawei Freelace, the company has unveiled these in Graphite Black, Amber Sunrise, Emerald Green and Moonlight Silver colors. Huawei said that it will be retailing these in select countries starting 1 April 2019. Considering the size and importance of Indian market, it is highly likely that India will be one of the first countries to lay its hands on Huawei Freelace earphones.
Huawei’s official statement read, “Pairing HUAWEI Freelace with a Huawei smartphone is easier and more intuitive than any other wireless earphones. Separating the right earbud and its cable from the volume buttons reveals a USB Type-C connector, which can be inserted into the USB Type-C port of any Huawei smartphone running EMUI 9.1 for quick and easy Bluetooth pairing via Huawei HiPair. This Huawei proprietary technology eliminates the often time-consuming process of pairing Bluetooth peripherals with smartphones, which usually involves discovery and several attempts at establishing a wireless connection.”
Each speaker features a dynamic driver unit with a diameter of 9.2mm. Huawei FreeLace can also be plugged to the USB Type-C port of any smartphone, tablet or PC for charging. The company is claiming that a five-minute charge gives the earphones up to four hours of playback time.
Huawei Watch GT Active and Elegant Editions
The Active Edition features the same 46mm watch face as that of Huawei Watch GT Classic Edition and Sport Edition, while the Elegant Edition features a smaller 42mm ceramic bezel option. Huawei Watch GT Active Edition is fitted with a 1.39-inch amoled HD color touchscreen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, while the Elegant Edition with a 1.2-inch amoled HD color touchscreen with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels.

The Elegant Edition is up to one week. Used without exercise tracking in a more traditional watch scenario, the Huawei Watch GT can stay charged for up to 30 days.”
