The Tab 13 is compatible with Lenovo’s Precision Pen 2, meaning you could draw or take notes while it’s propped up
Lenovo has unveiled its newest addition to its tablet range – Yoga Tab 13 – which is a global version of the Yoga Pad Pro. The tablet can function as an external display for a laptop, or a Nintendo Switch, or any other HDMI device, and with an attached stainless steel kickstand that can rotate 180 degrees from the back of the device, users can stand it up or hang it from a wall. It also comes with a much awaited micro HDMI port built into the right side of the device.
Priced at $679, the 13-inch tab was announced alongside a slew of other Android tablets that Lenovo expects to launch later this summer, including a smaller Yoga Tab 11 and the budget-oriented Tab M7 and Tab M8, said The Verge.
It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Keeping in mind its multifunctionality as an external display device, it comes with a 10,000 mAh battery, which the company claims will get up to 12 hours of battery life
The 13-inch display features a 2160 x 1350 resolution and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. There’s a USB-C port for charging and plugging in adapters, but no headphone jack. There is a front-facing 8-megapixel camera with background noise reduction for video conferencing.
The Tab 13 is compatible with Lenovo’s Precision Pen 2, meaning you could draw or take notes while it’s propped up.
All of the new tablets support Google’s new Entertainment Space, which allows users to access videos, books, and games from multiple different apps in a single hub. It’s effectively a launcher that looks and acts like the Google TV interface, with quick access to movies, shows, games, and books in the Play Store. Lenovo was among the manufacturers expected to adopt the content-first layout.
The company recently unveiled its first foldable PC, ThinkPad X1 Fold, in India at a starting price of Rs 329,000.
The latest PC adapts to the new remote, office and hybrid working models, enabling trailblazers to embrace ground-breaking innovation that will empower creativity, collaboration and entertainment.
