Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone variants are priced right below the prices of Samsung M 30 smartphone. The TV was announced at a price tag of Rs 12,999 in the country

China based Xioami has launched its latest 32-inch smart TV, Bluetooth earphones, Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphones in India. Interestingly Samsung had also launched M 30 smartphone in the country today. The company said that following ‘Make in India’ initiative, both the smartphones will be made in India,
Redmi Twitter post read, “Taking our Make In India initiative forward, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro will be made in India.”
The company, on a question posted on its Twitter handle, did not answer whether the major components will be sourced from India or some other country. Samsung had also said that its M Series smartphones will be manufactured in India.
Mi 32-inch smart TV features
The latest 32-inch Mi smart TV features a 80 cm HD ready display. Xiaomi has equipped the TV with a Amlogic 64-bit processor and 7th generation imaging engine. It is based on Android 8.1 OS and has in-built support for Google Assitant. Xiaomi will be shipping Mi LED TV 4A PRO 32 with Bluetooth Mi remote.
Manu Kumar Jain, MD, Xiaomi India, tweeted, “Yup, you guessed it right, we are bringing the Mi LED TV 4A PRO 32 and it comes equipped with: HD Ready display, Latest Amlogic 64-bit processor with 7th generation imaging engine, Android TV 8.1, Google Assistant and Bluetooth Mi Remote .”
Xiaomi will start retailing the TV starting 7 march 2019 on Flipkart and Mi India website. The company said that the TV will also be available at Mi Home stores in the country.
Mi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphone features
The China based consumer electronics company has also launched Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphones in India. Redmi Note 7 smartphone features Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor that the company claims can achieve up to 2.2 GHz of turbo speed.
Redmi’s Twitter post read, “Redmi Note 7 features the Qualcomm Kryo architecture to power up your high demanding tasks like gaming and efficiently manage your regular tasks like browsing.”
Xiaomi has equipped the camera with a 13 MP sensor at front while the rear camera setup consists of two lenses – one 12 MP and another 2 MP. Redmi Note 7 Pro, on the other hand, comes equipped with a 48 MP AI dual rear camera setup. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. Both the smartphones feature 4000 mAh batteries.
Company’s tweet read, “Mi fans, Redmi Note 7 Pro (4GB + 64GB) is priced at Rs 13,999 and (6GB + 128GB) is priced at ₹16,999.”
It is interesting to note here that Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone variants are priced right below Samsung’s M 30 smartphone prices. Samsung M 30 4 GB variant was announced at Rs 14,990, while the 6 GB variant was announced at a price tag of Rs 17,990 in India.
