The quality of camera image is one of the top features that users generally inquire before purchasing a smartphone. A recent survey by Statista head revealed that 86 per cent respondents had voted for camera quality as one of the top features in a smartphone.

Oppo, in the last week of January 2019, had said that its 10x lossless zoom technology was ready for commercial operations. He added that innovation is their top priority and they have made many developments to bring the future into consumers’ hands. They look forward to continuing with this commitment and bringing to market more advances particularly in 5G and photography.
Oppo 10x lossless zoom camera technology features
Oppo’s the ultra-wide-angle camera has an equivalent focal range of 15.9 mm, bringing a unique capability to the wide-angle viewfinder, to support high-magnification zoom, can ensure a high-quality long-distance shot.
All three cameras encompassing the technology operate in tandem to maximize their respective advantages, optimise imaging quality at various zoom ranges to achieve 10x zoom in a relay manner. To maintain image quality at all ranges, Oppo has introduced dual OIS optical image stabilization on both standard and telephoto cameras.
Oppo claims that its ‘periscope structure’ is also paramount to achieving 10x lossless zoom technology. The periscope-inspired design, as per Oppo, makes full use of the width and thickness of the phone through the lateral arrangement and refraction of the lens set.
