39.2 million followers on Twitter alone
Salman Khan, a Bollywood star, is followed by more than 39.2 million followers on Twitter alone. On Instagram, he is followed by more than 29 million followers, and on Facebook by more than 37 million on Facebook. This fan following on social media handles might give Realme a lot of exposure as a smartphone brand.
Xiaomi, last year had signed up Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, as its brand ambassador in India. Interestingly, Xiaomi has announced its collaboration with Ranveer Singh almost at the same time last year.
“Welcoming Being Salman Khan as the ambassador of Realme mobiles! Now it’s time to make it grander! Unveiling 64MP Pro Camera Pro Display with Realme6 & Realme 6 Pro. Witness the launch live at 12:30 PM, 5th March,” read a Tweet made by Realme.
