- The company is collaborating with Samsonite to develop a range of IoT-enabled travel suitcases
Panasonic has roped in Bollywood actors and real life couple Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi to promote its new premium washing machine range.
The company has now launched the second part of its digital film featuring Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi. The campaign ‘Jab chahe hot, Jab chahe cold’ is a four- part ad series.
The campaign highlights the flexible two-way washing technology of the new range that comes with a built-in water heater. The technology allows users to use either hot or cold water for washing clothes.
Panasonic says the two-way hot and cold feature coupled with water re-use and white course ensures convenient washing with minimal water consumption.
Commenting on the digital ad film, Shirish Agarwal, Head – Brand & Marketing Communications, Panasonic India, said, “Panasonic as a brand, is committed towards making the lives of its consumers more aspirational, convenient and comfortable by aiding them in making the right choice when it comes to their lifestyle needs.”
“Our products are simply an extension of this thought process and our ‘Jab chahe hot, jab chahe cold’ digital film is a reflection of the same. Through this campaign, we aim to encourage our consumers to aspire for more and desire for the best when it comes to their lifestyle and household needs.”
Samsonite, Panasonic develop smart travel suitcase
Recently, the company entered into a strategic partnership with travel luggage major Samsonite International to develop a range of IoT-enabled travel suitcases that come with tracking and tracing capability. This range will be available in the market during Diwali.
As part of this partnership, Samsonite’s new product Evoa Tech will have Panasonic’s Seekit bluetooth tracker that will enable customers to tag and track their luggage.
Seekit has been developed by Panasonic at its India innovation centre and both the companies have been working on this project for around two years.
The suitcase will also have features like a biometric locking system, an inbuilt weighing scale and a USB port.
