Xiaomi Partnered PUBG, No Mention of India in the Contest

The contest included teams from Spain, France, Germany, Russia, Poland, Colombia, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Pakistan, Morocco, Netherlands, Belgium, and Egypt

Xiaomi had recently announced it partnership with PUBG MOBILE to debut the “Sole Survivor,” a multi-regional battle royal played on PUBG MOBILE that pitted the best Xiaomi Fan teams against one another for a chance of claiming the title of Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Markets represented in the contest included teams from Spain, France, Germany, Russia, Poland, Colombia, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Pakistan, Morocco, Netherlands, Belgium, and Egypt. Ultimately 11 teams showed up to the finals and went head-to-head across three PUBG MOBILE maps in a one-day competition. There was no mention of any Indian team in the contest.

After hundreds of qualifying teams, with a dozen countries represented, in the end there was just one team, team Rage from Pakistan, named Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and the title of Sole Survivor Champion.

Additional prizes were raffled off as a lucky draw on the day of the live-stream. Audiences tuning into the live broadcast had an opportunity to win 3 Mi Air 2s phones, 1 Redmi note 10 5G, and 3 Redmi Note 10s by answering a few questions about Redmi.
