LG Announced the Launch of LG GX Soundbar Soon

LG Electronics has announced the launch of its soundbar range. The LG GX soundbar is expected to hit the European, North American and Asian markets in this month. The soundbars measures 15H x 144.6W x 3.25D cm and it is claimed to be identical in width and finish to the 65-inch LG GX Gallery series TV. The price details and mode of retail of the product have not been revealed by the company yet.

Sound Quality

LG GX soundbar claims to deliver superior sound due to Dolby Atmos and DTX:S, providing three-dimensional audio. The speaker is Dolby Vision compatible via 4K pass-through, claiming to provide the best possible picture and sound quality for cinematic home viewing. The subwoofer delivers low frequency bass and connects wirelessly to the soundbar. LG’s wireless rear speaker kit claims to deliver a greater sense of immersion for the consumers.

The soundbar features enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and Bluetooth to deliver upgraded user convenience and easy connectivity options. The product features higher bandwidth and eARC provides the high-resolution audio formats such as Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio while Bluetooth enables effortless, ultra quality streaming from a smartphone or tablet.

Physical specifications

The LG GX soundbar claims to be Hi-Res Audio certified, offering lossless playback at 24bit/96kHz with greater vibrancy and nuance. The speaker produces detailed, natural sound when playing high-resolution audio files or when up-converting conventional audio formats. The soundbar can be mounted either flush on the wall directly under the TV or supported using the included steel stand. The GX Soundbar boasts excellent sound, advanced features and sophisticated aesthetics designed to be used with the GX Gallery OLED series of TVs from LG.
