Brand’s official statement read, “The speaker boasts of an immersive 360-degree sound with rich deep bass that instigates spontaneous adventures anywhere along with IP-65 for 100 per cent protection against water, shock, snow, and dust.”
Price wars
Zaap has priced its latest offering at Rs 1,949 in the country. The brand said that it will be retailing the same through Amazon, Snapdeal and Zaaptech website. It will also be available at selected retail store in the country.
It is interesting to note that a lot of brands are offering such Bluetooth speakers at prices lower than what Zaaptech has announced. Brands including the likes of Jokin, Offender, WavePlus, Zahuu and Meckwell are retailing such speakers in prices below Rs 1500 category on many e-commerce portals in India.
Zaaptech Aqua Boom speaker features
The Bluetooth speaker features a rating of IP-65 which makes it water, shock, snow and dust-proof. Zaaptech said that it will be including a compass and carbine clip with every shipment.
Aqua Boom houses 7 Watt speakers. The speaker’s 1500 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, as per the brand, offers eight hours of playtime. It is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows devices. Aqua Boom is based on 4.0 Bluetooth technology and offers 50 feet long distance range.
Zaaptech’s official statement read, “Aqua Boom further allows the users to accept or reject phone calls, change tracks or adjust the volume all with the help of its built-in microphone. It also has a LED Indicator which notifies the user about its battery status and connectivity. It comes with a micro USB charging cable, 3.5 MM Aux-in cable, compass, carbine clip, and a 12-Month Warranty.”
