Mevofit has launched Race E500 Thrust smartwatch in India. Complete with a circular shaped screen, this smartwatch as per the company, can monitor ECG as well as heart rate of a user.
Interestingly, the company is currently retailing four fitness tracker bands and two smartwatches in India. Mevofit E500 Thrust is now the most expensive offering by the company here.
Priced smartly?
A lot of brands have started retailing smartwatches equipped with heart rate monitors. While big brands including the likes of Samsung and Apple are retailing these for prices above Rs 15,000, there are a plenty of other brands that are retailing these at prices below Rs 5,000. One such example is Riversong. The IMG Technology owned brand is selling heart rate monitor smartwatch named motive for prices belwo Rs 5,000.
Mevofit, probably banking upon its brand value seems to have strategically priced it below Rs 10,000. This latest smartwatch by the company now sits between the premium and super affordable smartwatches available in the market. Mevofit is retailing this smartwatch for a price of Rs 7,590 on its India website.
IP67 water resistant
Mevofit’s India website shows the watch to be equipped with IP67 rated water resistant properties. It features a 1.3-inch color display that offers a resolution of 240X240 pixels.
The company says that E500 Thrust smartwatch works with smartphone brands including Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi Mi, Huawei, Motorola, Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo, One Plus and LG. It comes equipped with walking, running, hiking and cycling sports modes.
