Xiaomi has announced that Raghu Reddy will now serve as chief business officer for Xiaomi India. He was earlier heading all categories and online sales for Xiaomi India. Under his new role he continues to be responsible for all categories and online sales business of Xiaomi India. Additionally, he will also take up several responsibilities from the managing director, Manu Kumar Jain.
“Proud to share that Raghu Reddy, has been promoted as the chief business officer of Xiaomi India. Over last four years, Raghu has played a key role in growing our online sales (45 per cent + share) & launching multiple new products. Rock it Man,” tweeted Manu Kumar Jain.

From software engineer to chief business officer
Having joined the Xiaomi team in 2016, Raghu played a key role in propelling Xiaomi’s exponential sales growth, and manages the online sales teams across India. Raghu began his career with Wipro Technologies as a software engineer, and went on to work with Ernst & Young as a senior consultant, followed by Snapdeal as a senior director. He then moved on to lead as a senior director with the mother company of Snapdeal – Jasper Infotech.
Raghu did his bachelors of engineering (Metallurgy) from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka in 2005. He also holds a PGDBM in marketing and finance from XLRI Jamshedpur.
