Yesterday, GSMArena reported that Huawei’s upcoming smartphone P40 Pro may arrive with five cameras at the rear panel. Now a recent leak hints that the P40 Pro may arrive with a total of seven cameras, five at the rear and two at the front.
The five snappers on its back would feature a main wide-angle lens, a cine lens, a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, a periscope lens with support for 10x optical zoom and either a telephoto lens with up to 9x optical zoom or an ultrawide lens, GizmoChina reported.
Run on its own HarmonyOS operating system
Richard Yu, the head of Huawei’s consumer business also said that P40 series smartphones will run on its own HarmonyOS operating system instead of Google’s Android.
Huawei’s upcoming smartphones P40, P40 Pro are expected to launch in March 2020. Recently, Huawei also announced that it is bringing its Kirin A1 chipset to India. “The Kirin A1 is a very powerful chipset and is anticipated to bring in a paradigm shift in India’s wearable market. In line with our legacy of eliminating consumer pain points- Products powered by this chipset will provide unparalleled performance, power efficiency and connectivity,” noted Tornado Pan, Country Manager, Huawei Consumer Business Group, Huawei India.
