Cashify Opens its First Exclusive Offline Store in India

Cashify has inaugurated its first exclusive offline store in India. The company said that it is planning to open more such stores in the country. Electronics For You was the first media house to report that Cashify’s plans of opening an exclusive store in Haryana.

Aseem Goyal, VP, retail expansion, Cashify said, “We are glad to announce launch of our first exclusive offline store, for all the Cashify products and services under one roof. We wanted to ensure everything related to smartphones, whether to sell them, repair
them, buy new one or just accessorize them, it should be made available at one stop, hence the Cashify store.”

Plans to add more stores

The company said that it is also planning to add more such stores in the future. In a recent conversation with Electronics For You, Amit Sethi, CTO and co-founder, Cashify had shared that the company was also exploring to venture into the online sales of refurbished laptops and gaming consoles. It is a strong possibility that Cashify will also use this store for retailing these in the near future.

Amit Sethi shared, “While smartphones will be the key product segment to start off we will sell refurbished laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles in the future. We are also launching accessories and that will also be one product category of Cashify’s E-commerce portal.”

Experiment to offer all their services under one roof

The company is referring towards the store as an experiment to offer all their services under one roof. As Faridabad is located near many Tier Two cities like Palwal and Ballabgarh, this strategy may work in favour of the company.

Cashify is looking forward to open 50 such stores in 10 cities by the end of 2019 and looking forward to invest 10 Crore (Rs 100 Million) as operational costs for these stores. Apart from their own stores, Cashify will also be partnering more offline retails chains in India in order to reach out to more cities and let customers sell their old gadgets on the spot, effortlessly.

Aseem Goyal said, “Cashify will buy old smartphones, offer screen repair services, sell refurbished smartphones and accessories at the store. All the services will be instant, on the spot and we will ensure to provide a whole new experience to customers. In the coming months we are planning to reach out to more cities with the Exclusive Cashify stores, as a part of our offline expansion plan in India.”
