The brand also claims that it had shipped 153 million smartphones in 2017. The figures include smartphones shipped under Huawei and Honor brands

Huawei’s global smartphones shipments were 3 million units in 2010
An official statement released by the brand revealed that Huawei’s smartphone shipments in 2010 were only three million units. The present figures of 200 million smartphone unit shipments indicate a 66 per cent growth for the brand in the eight years period.
The statement read, “In the global smartphone market, Huawei has gone from being dismissed as a statistical ‘Other’ to ranking among the top 3 players in the world. And in the second and third quarters of 2018, Huawei became the world’s second largest smartphone manufacturer, with a global market share of 14.6 per cent.”
Huawei says that the brand’s smartphones are being used by more than 500 million consumers in more than 170 countries around the world. The brand had launched Huawei Mate 20, P20 and some Nova series smartphones, during this year globally. Huawei is now planning to become the leader in the next wave of the smartphone revolution.
