The smartphone series was launched in October 2018. It is one among the most expensive smartphones retailed by Huawei
China based Huawei has thanked Huawei Mate 20 users through social media platforms for helping the company ship out one crore (10 million) Huawei Mate series smartphones during the last five months. It is to be noted here that Mate 20 smartphone series is touted to be powered by the world’s first 5G-ready 7nm (nanometre) chipset Kirin 980.
Huawei’s tweet read, “Thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve an incredible 10,000,000 shipments of the Huawei Mate 20 series since it was launched in October 2018. We have been overwhelmed by your continued support and will strive to keep improving our full product range.”
Interestingly, Huawei Mate 20 series includes smartphones in all the price segments. It includes Mate 20 Lite, Mate 20 X, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro amd Mate M 20 RSI smartphone devices.

Planning to launch a camera focused smartphone?
Apart from the announcement, it seems as if Huawei is also gearing up to launch a camera focused smartphone on 26 March 2019. Company’s Twitter handles reveals several posts highlighting zoom feature on smartphones. It is believed that Huawei is going to launch P30 series smartphones in Paris during the last week of March 2019.
We believe that Huawei is going to launch something similar to Oppo’s 10X lossless zoom technology. Oppo had recently announced the arrival of new sub-brand Reno. Reno, from what the company officials shared on various social media platforms, looks like a phone targeted towards the millennial generation. Oppo might feature its latest camera technology in the same smartphone.
One of Huawei’s tweet read, “Get up close and personal. Face up to something super on 26.03.2019.” This tweet was shared with a picture of Eiffel Tower that seems to be clicked from a large distance.
Interestingly, Xiaomi had recently launched its 48MP camera smartphone in India.
