The smartphone was first showcased at MWC 2019. It is also the first multi-frequency, multi-mode and multi-EN-DC combination 5G smartphone to be approved by CTC

Company’s official statement read, “An integral step towards the commercial launch of its 5G smartphone in Europe, OPPO’s CE certification verifies that the OPPO 5G device is compliant with EU requirements essential for entering European markets in areas such as wireless, electromagnetic compatibility, health and safety.”
Oppo Launching a New Smartphone Brand as Well
The company has also started teasing a new smartphone brand in many of its global markets. Dubbed as Reno, the logo of the smartphone brand hints towards a smartphone that may feature Oppo’s 10 X Loss-Less-Zoom technology.
Oppo’s website explains Reno as, “Set to liberate and inspire individuals for what they see and create! Get Ready For Reno – coming this April.”
