This is one of the most expensive Bluetooth headsets launched by the company in India. Astrum claims that it is based on Qualcomm AptX Codec technology
An official press release issued by the company read, “Powered with CSR Bluetooth Chipset V4.0 and loaded with Qualcomm AptX Codec, you get everything with HT500.”
Speaking on the launch, Manoj Kumar Pansari, Chairman and MD, Astrum Electronics said, “One of our most awaited launches – HT500 headset is based on a superior sound isolation technology with APT-X. It gives out CD sound quality. Robust construction and swivelling ear cups give a guarantee that you will enjoy good music for years to come. It’s not just a buy, but an investment in quality.”

This latest Astrum headset, as per the company, is designed with UV quoted cups and leather cushions. Astrum says that the hidden mic offers good sound quality.
It features a built-in 220 mAh battery, that provides up to 10 hours of playback time. Bluetooth range, as claimed by the brand, is 33. It also comes with 3.3 mm audio jack input option with a stereo cable which can be used when the battery on the headphone runs out.
The Bluetooth headset also comes equipped with 50 mm bass drivers and 50 mm dynamic driver. Astrum’s official statement read, “For finest expediency, it also allows users to have clear hands-free conversation with its high sensitive mic and is also packed with buttons for phone and music control making it easy to take/end calls, play/pause music and adjust volume level while listening to your favorite music tracks on the move.”
