Realme’s plans to be present in 150 cities in India through the offline channel seem to be shaping up well. The company, in a move to expand its offline presence has started retailing C2 smartphone through 8000 retail stores in India. The company had earlier said that it was present in more than 35 cities in India already.
The China-based smartphone brand had launched the Realme 3 Pro and Realme C2 in April 2019. Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India, at the launch of these smartphones had said, “With the launch of realme 3 Pro and realme C2, customers can enjoy the benefits of Power and Style in different price segments. In less than one year we have launched 8 products across 4 product series and achieved 6.5 million fans across the country. This has been possible only with the support and love of our fans. In the coming year, we will continue to be the challenger and disruptor in the global smartphone market.”
Realme C2, is one of the most affordable smartphones offered by the company in India. The company, till recently, was retailing the sales through limited time sales organised via the online channel.
Focus on offline expansion
BBK owned Realme has been very active towards its offline expansion plans in India. The company had first shared its ambitions of offline expansion during the last quarter of 2018. The announcement had come right after new norms for FDI in e-commerce were announced in India.

Realme C2 sports a 6.1-inch screen
The 6.1-inch dewdrop full screen on realme C2 features corning glass 3. It comes equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery with a day usage assured without charging. The 2.0GHZ and octa-core Helio P22 processor for realme C2, as per the company, is capable of a long-lasting battery endurance and powerful performance. Realme supports expandable 256GB storage with triple independent card slot.
It also features a customised AI dual rear camera (13MP+2 MP). Realme C2 supports 80fps/480P slow-motion video recording.
