Fossil Launches Hybrid HR Smartwatch

Fossil has launched Hybrid HR smartwatch globally and will sell in in India from 18th November. It has priced the watch at $195 (approx Rs 13,850) and will make it available on its website and selected retail stores. Recently, the company had sold its smartwatch assets to Google. Fossil has not specified at what price it will sell the watch in India.

The watch has a traditional design and a second layer of display that shows notifications. The company is featuring an e-paper display with the new watch. It has an always-on display, heart rate tracking feature which lasts for two weeks on a single charge claims Fossil.

Launch over 100 new smartwatch styles soon

The company said it generated more than $400 million in wearable device sales in 2018 and it will launch over 100 new smartwatch styles across 10 brands in the holiday season. The watch allows users to choose between a variety of backgrounds, dial elements and button assignments to designate which notifications the user receives or functions to perform says Fossil.
