With this launch, the smartphone is available in two storage variants. The 4GB with 64GB internal storage variant was initially launched at a price of Rs 16,999. It received a price cut of of Rs 1,000. It has received a further price cut and Samsung will sell this variant of the phone at Rs 14,999.

The Galaxy A30s come with a 16.25 cm (6.4-inch) HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 dual 1.8GHz and Hexa 1.6Hz 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS out-of-the-box.

The phone has a triple-rear camera setup. It includes a 25MP primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the phone has a 16MP sensor shooter with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port
