Xiaomi Launches Cross-border E-commerce Platform ShareSave

Xiaomi has launched new cross-border e-commerce platform ShareSave, to retail its ecosystem products in India, that were only available in China.It will give Mi users a convenient and cost-effective way to purchase Xiaomi ecosystem products.

Some products available on ShareSave include Mi x Wiha Precision Screwdriver, Yeelight LED Light Bulb (Color) and Soocas Sonic Electric Toothbrush X1 Lite.

Launched in India only

ShareSave was announced as a global initiative by Xiaomi.As of now,The app has only been launched in India,at present it is  the largest market for Xiaomi. However, Xiaomi also informed that it has plans to launch the app in other markets as well. S

Testing ground for key markets

ShareSave, will serve as a a testing ground for key markets, allowing Xiaomi to learn more about the local demand for various types of product. Xiaomi is famous for driving a community-based culture in the country. Its key officials not only take regular parts in Mi-fan events but also post photographs with Mi users from all over the country.

ShareSave and three kinds of purchase modes

The app,ShareSave will provide users with three different purchase modes. The first one, dubbed pair-up, allows users to make purchases with a friend where both get exclusive discounts.

Drop, the second purchase mode, promises up to 100 per cent price drop when enough friends and family join the drop group. The move indicates that Xiaomi is trying to increase its user base using its existing network of customers in its key markets.

Xiaomi also claims that it has the largest consumer IoT platform in the world,with its unique ecosystem model, Xiaomi has currently incubated and partnered with more than 100 IoT and lifestyle companies. With more than 132 million connected devices (excluding smartphones and laptops), Xiaomi has the world’s largest consumer IoT platform.
