Smartphone brand has announced its partnership with Subham Enterprises and DSS Enterprises. The latter two, have 100 and 130 retail stores in the offline channel. This partnership, as per Oneplus, is in alignment with company’s offline expansion strategy.
A report published by the Economic Times mentioned Siddharth Deshmukh referring to Tamil Nadu as an important market for them. He also mentioned that the partnership with DSS Enterprise and Subham Ventures is intended to bring Oneplus products closer to audience in the offline market. Siddharth Deshmukh is the head of head and general trade for Oneplus in India.

The offline expansion
Not just Oneplus, the likes of Realme and Xiaomi have also become very active when it comes to expansion in the offline channel. Xiaomi had recently announced the opening of its 2500th single-brand outlet in the offline market. Similarly, Realme has also opened its eight exclusive service center in India.
“We opened our 8th exclusive service center today in Agra! We now have a service center network of more than 360 spread across the county. Constantly trying to live up to our user’s expectations. Will be launching more exclusive service centers across the country soon,” read a tweet posted by Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme Mobiles.
It is to be noted here that both Realme and Oneplus are smartphone brands that operate under the umbrella of China-based BBK. Oppo and Vivo are also BBK’s smartphone brands.
Vikas Aggarwal, country head, OnePlus, had recently said that starting 2020, the company will focus on its offline expansion, manufacturing and research and development in India.
