Expanding in Northern States
The China-based smartphone brand has been aggressively expanding in the states of Rajasthan and Haryana over the last few months. Interestingly, Sapna Choudhary has a large fan following in these states. It is also to be noted here that Sapna Choudhary has recently joined ruling party BJP in India.
It is worth mentioning here that Yuho has a fan following of around 42 thousand on Facebook, while Sapna Chodhary’s official page on the same social media website has a following of more than 2.9 million Facebook accounts. Sapna’s fan following on Instagram is around two million rich.
Sapna Choudhary added, “My primary responsibility is to promote the brand, however, it will not be effective unless I get your support/ Let’s rock together.”
Yuho not interested in selling online
Chanpreet Singh, Country CEO and Managing Director, Yuho Mobiles, India, in an exclusive interaction with EFY Group, had said that a company’s success largely depends upon its sales network. He also said that diverting energies into two different channels (online and offline) is not necessary as the offline channel is doing superb business for the brand.
He told EFY Group, “We have not at all tried to project our products online till now. The major reason behind not projecting our products online is the fact that our offline channel is doing exceptionally well. We have major expansions taking place in the offline channel and diverting energies towards two different channels may confuse things.”
It is to be noted here that Yuho has launched more than 16 smartphones in India during the last year. Right now the brand is present in about 16 states all through the offline route.
