Fitbit Launches Charge 4 Fitness Tracker in India

Fitbit has launched the Fitbit Charge 4 in India. It has priced the black, rosewood, and storm black and blue variant at Rs 14,999. It will sell the special edition granite reflective and black woven variant at Rs 16,999. The company will make the product available in stores and online globally from  April 2020.

Due to the Coronavirus lockdown and to help people stay active at home, Fitbit is offering 40 new pieces of Premium content free in the Fitbit app. It will offer a 90-day free trial of this paid subscription to a new Fitbit Premium member. It will include personalised health insights, guidance, advanced sleep tools, customised programs, and over 200 workouts.

Up to seven days of battery life

The company claims that the Fitbit Charge 4 fitness tracker will provide up to seven days of battery life. It has a Fitbit Active Zone Minutes, which is a personalized standard based on the user’s resting heart rate and age. It tracks any workout that gets the heart pumping and measures the time spent in each heart rate zone toward a weekly goal of 150 minutes.

The tracker also includes sleep features. It has a Sleep Score feature which provides deeper insights into one’s sleep patterns. The tracker also has a relative SpO2 sensor that powers Fitbit’s Estimated Oxygen Variation Graph in the Fitbit app. It shows an estimate of the oxygen level variability in the bloodstream.
