Carlcare, Transsion Holding’s after sales service brand has completed two years in India. Interestingly, the brand only manages after sales services of brands falling under the Transsion umbrella.

It is to be noted here tha the China-based company operates itel, Tecno, Infinix, Oraimo, Syinix and Carlcare brands. Itel had recently informed that it had five crore consumers in India.
Five crore consumers in India
The company had recently informed that it was able to achieve the feat of having five crore consumers in India in under three years time. As a matter of fact, Transsion had launched itel’s first smartphone about a year ago here.
Arijeet Talapatra, CEO, Transsion India, at that time had said, “India is a priority market for us and five crore + discerning customers in such a short span reinstates the trust and love of customers for brand itel. Our approach of providing futuristic technology and magical product features in sub 5k category has made itel the leader in this segment.”
Tecno, on the other hand, has been quite active in the marketing arena in India. Apart from launching brand campaigns, it had also teamed up with Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab this last season.
Transsion Holdings had first entered India with itel brand in April 2016. Tecno and Infinix were launched in India in 2017.
