Amway’s Atmosphere Drive™ claims to remove 99 per cent of PM 2.5 and the FMCG giant is aiming to grab a major market share in India
Amway India has forayed into India’s car air purifier segment with the introduction of Atmosphere Drive™, the country’s only Car Air Treatment System with the Allergy UK Seal of Approval. It means that the product has undergone scientific testing carried out by an independent laboratory by leading allergy specialists. It can purify the air with a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 30m3 per hour at its max speed and reduce three hundred and 13 different gaseous contaminants.
Commenting on the Car Air Treatment System launch, Sundip Shah, Chief Marketing Officer, Amway India, said “With many people spending a lot of time in the car during their daily commute, the launch of the Atmosphere Drive™, will prove to be an essential requirement for all commuters in India in the coming years.” He added that Amway is eyeing to gain a major share of the car air purifier market.
The Atmosphere Drive™ System operates at three stages for effective air filtration to purify the air inside the car. Stage 1 uses a pre-filter to remove large particles such as hair and dust. It then uses a filter to removes small airborne particles such as dust, PM2 and smoke and the final one uses a carbon filter to reduce odour and gaseous contaminants. This 3-in-1 technology operates to remove over 300 contaminants.
The car air purifier system can operate quietly and efficiently. Its sensory technology allows for auto mode operation while driving and provides real-time air quality reading. It also has a smart chip technology for effective filter life monitoring which indicates when to change the filter.
