Samsung is likely to launch Galaxy Watch Active 2 in India soon. Samsung has already launched the watch in the US last month. Samsung is likely to sell the smart watch upwards of Rs 20, 000 as the Galaxy Watch Active was priced above Rs 20,000.
Samsung has recently launched the much-anticipated Galaxy Fold smartphone in India. The company has made the phone available for pre booking at a price of Rs 1,64,999 online on its online store, Samsung shops and offline stores in 35 cities across 315 outlets. Pre-bookings for Galaxy Fold in India start on fourth October and deliveries will begin on 20 October according to Samsung.
Super AMOLED always-on screens
Samsung claims that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes in in two sizes of 40mm and 44mm sizes featuring 3.048 cm (1.2-inch)and 3.55 cm (1.4-inch) displays respectively. Both the models come with Super AMOLED always-on screens with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels with Corning’s Gorilla Glass DX+ for protection.
Can track 39 workouts
Samsung says the watch is IP68 rated and MIL-STD 810G rated water-resistant and dustproof product. The company claims that it can be used to track 39 workouts out of which seven are automatically activated including running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing machine, elliptical machine and dynamic workouts.
The device comes with sensors like heart-rate sensor, ECG sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and ambient light sensor. The watch also comes with rotating touch bezel which allows users to interact with the smartwatch’s UI by moving their fingers in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction claims the company.
Samsung India had recently launched a new premium audio brand AKG in India. Under AKG, the company has launched four new wireless headphones and earphones namely Y100, Y500, N200 and N700NC M2.
